White Hope, whoso blood lines are crossed in both these pedigrees, was recognised as_ the world’s greatest sire, and on studying his pedigree it is little wohder that he achieved such fame tut a sire. His pedigree shines with world celebrities in the greyhound sphere. White Hope’s sire, Such a Mark, was bv Farndon Ferry, who not only won the English Waterloo Cup in 1902. but later on proved to he one of England’s best sires. Fiery Furnace was another great sire in his day. Game-Un. the dam of White Hone, was a daughter of that great dog Gallant, who won the EncHsh Waterloo Cup away hack in 1897. Gladiole, grand dam of Gnmc-Un, was a sister to Under the Globe, who was in his day one of the greatest sires in England. White Hone died in Sydney in 1922 at the age of 13 years 4 months, and at his death there passed away the greatest sire the world has ever known. It is doubtful if the present generation of coursing enthusiasts will live to see a sire either imported to Australia, bred there or in New Zealand, to equal this one-time illustrious sire, .White Hope. A careful study of the pedigrees of both Turn Up and Latest Craze will suffice to prove that through their lines runs the very best of greyhound blood.

Before being purchased by Mr M'Cash Latest Craze was owned by Mr B. Burke, of. Sydney, who raced him successfully at Harold Park, where in all he won more than £250, but had to be retired from racing owing to a shoulder injury.
