WORK RESUMED IPeb United Press Association.] GREYMOUTH, December 1. Work was resumed at. the Liverpool State mine this morning following three days’ idleness. The dispute arose over the" question of the'safety of the mine. The deputies signed the customary declaration on Tuesday that the mine was safe, but this was not accepted by the miners. On Wednesday the deputies refrained from signing the book, and consequently the miners could not work. After a conference yesterday afternoon the deputies agreed to sign the book, this morning.
