PLANNING THEIR OWN GIFTS

The little Princesses are preparing for Christmas. Princess Elizabeth intends to give many of her friends calendars bearing photographs that she has taken with her new camera.

Gifts of bulbs in gay-looking handpainted bowls are another idea for presents that the Princesses are putting into action. Thev asked the head gardener at Roval Lodge to save them some bulbs. These should come into flower at Christmas time, and the Princesses will send them off before they go to Sandringham. An idea of Princess Elizabeth for Christmas presents takes the form of miniature Christinas puddings to he made by herself.
