(Received November 12, at 8 a.m.) It is understood that the Imperial Defence Commission will shortly meet in London to plan a scheme for the defence of Australia and New Zealand, whereby the defence of the two dominions might be considered separate front the rest of the Empire. AUSTRALIAN POLICY SYDNEY, November 12. (Received November 12, at noon.) Addressing the llnited Australia Party convention, Mr J. A. Lyons said the Government had based its defence policy on the underlying assumption that -Australia would have the active co-operation, not only of Britain, but also of New Zealand.;
