PLANS FOR EX-SERVICEMEN'S REUNION \ At a meeting held last night by a number of the committeemen who organised the successful 1936 reunion of ex-servicemen of the New Zealand Field Artillery it was decided tent a similar function, perhaps even ea a larger scale, be held in Dunedin on, April 29. 1939. Mr J. Slight occupied the chair. / '■
It was explained that as old artillerymen were scattered throughout the country and could not be gathered’ together as easily as in the cate of infantry regiments plenty of time was needed in which to make the hecssary arrangements. , ’ ,
Those present, who acted as a tem’porary committee, with Mr G. T. Baylee as interim: secretary, agreed that the plans should be advanced a further step on November 14, when an augmented committee and a permanent secretary would be appointed.
