CAR OVER BANK
HE KILLED, TWO IKJURED [Peb United Press Association.] TAUMARUNUI. June 4. "A fatality occurred at Herlihy’s Bluff, on the Wanganui River, near Taumarunuj, at 8 o’clock last night, when a car backing to let another car pass on a narrow stretch of road went over a precipitous bank and rolled to the river’s edge. James Murphy, of Kaponga, a married man, was killed instantaneously ; _ Michael Malone, _ of Kaponga, sustained a broken thigh: an<t a man believed to he named Dodd (of Stratford) was also severely injured, and is unconscious.
