NATIONAL CONCERT

On Monday evening a big concert will be staged in the Concert Chamber under the auspices of the Piping and Dancing Association. The concert will be essentially national in character, and wijl be of a varied nature. National songs, such as * Bonnie Earl o’ Murray ’ and ‘ Lochnagar, which are seldom heard, will be rendered by such outstanding artists as Miss Mary Pratt and Mr Arthur Macdonald. The humour will be supplied by Mr Jamie Paterson. Instrumental items will be given by Mr Rees M‘Conachy (violinist) and Mr Ted Heaney (piano-accordion), while, under special engagement, the youthful Wellington elocutionist, Donald Young, will make his first Dunedin appearance. £he bos plan is at the hall.
