WEDDING MIX-UP
An ox, and several sheep had been killed and roasted' for the wedding feast of Parinka- Huzhichitch and Stanislav Margovitch,, in' the village of Piroman, in Serbia, and the guests ha,d already begun to assemble, as is the local custom, on ithe eve of the wedding day, when it .was discovered that the bnde, Parinka,: :had eloped with an old flame, Ostoye Milenkovitch., Nevertheless, the banquet duly took place amid general .rejoicings. Hasty negotiations between the two families led to the marriage, the next day, of Parinka’s younger, and prettier, sister -to'Stanislav j and both pairs are now declared to be happy. -
