A rather green young man who was on a visit to the wild and woolly West went into a store to buy a saddle. “ Do you prefer an English saddle or a Western saddle, sir?” asked the salesman The young man looked puzzled. “ What’s the difference?” he asked. “ The Western saddle has a horn,” said the other. “ 1 don’t think I’ll need the horn,” said the young man. “ You see, I don’t intend to rido in heavy traffic.’^
