SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATES NEW CONSTRUCTION PROGRAMME Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, June .2. (Received June 3, at 8 a.m.) Supplementary naval estimates total £2,410,000, including £1 773,000 for new construction and £92,000 as the first instalment on the purchase of the seaplane carrier Albatross from Australia. The estimates also provide for the receipt from the Commonwealth of the first instalment of £450,000 towards the price of a cruiser which will be transferred to Australia. The new construction programme comprises two battleships, seven cruisers, one aircraft carrier, one supply ship, three submarines, three minelayers, one destroyer, one submarine depot ship, two gunboats, and 11 minor craft.
