LOW-WING MONOPLANES BECOMING POPULAR IN NEW ZEALAND.—A group of Miles aircraft on the tarmac at Rongotai, Wellington. This type of aeroplane is rapidly becoming popular in New Zealand. These machines, with the exception of one, the second along the row, are operated by the Wellington Aero Club, the other machine being flown by the Aerodromes Service Department for the inspection of aerodromes throughout New Zealand. In the background is the new military hangar at Rongotai.
