FARM HAND COMMITTED [Pm Dnitio Pbw* WAcunes.) HASTINGS, June 2. Admitting a charge of bigamy befor# justices in the Magistrate’s Court, Noel Samuel Bethwell, 30, a farm labourer, was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. He made no application for bail. The facts as admitted by the accused were that he was married at the Registry Office, Palmerston North, to Ruby Laurena Christensen bn January 6. 1933. and parted from her in Apn., 1035, there being one child of the union. On April 23. 1938. be went through the form of marriage at Hastings Methodist Church with another woman.
