FORESTERS

The fortnightly ‘ meeting of Court Excelsior, No. 6,128, was lield in the court room, Mornington. Chief Ranger Bro. W. D. Cunningham presided, and alb officers were present. The meeting was held in mourning lor the passing of Trustee P.C.R. Bro. E. Simmons. Court Pride of the Leith and the Morningtou Druids wrote expressing their sympathy with the lodge in the loss of IBro. Simmons. I.P.C.R. Bro. R. C. Lamb was elected a' delegate to the district meeting at Easter. It was resolved to send a letter of congratulation to P.C.R. Bro. W. R. Mearus on his being elected a life serving brother of St. John. D.C.R. Bro. A. Gibson and P.D.C.R. Bro. H. L. Thomson were present to give the court instruction regarding the interpretation of the ritual, with the object of uniformity throughout the district. P.C.R. Bro. Wood reminded the Management Committee of the next juvenile meeting and asked for a good muster to help the young brothers.
