He said there were different opinions regarding some of the resuscitation. methods used, but the outstanding feature emerging from the discussions was the use of carbondioxide in
surf work. It was largely used in the "Rodney disaster in Sydney Harbour, and had really marvellous results. It was already in use in New Zealand to a certain extent, and it was quite likely that its general use would be adopted here almost immediately.
