NUMEROUS ITALIANS .WAR SPIRIT REVIVING. PORT SAID, February 17. Of 17.903 Italian soldiers repatriated from Abyssinia and Somaliland since December, 3,023 were wounded. Since December, 8,316 Italian civilinns have passed through the Suez Canal on their way home. Haile Selassie’s former Imperial Guards are circulating among the tribes reports that he has not deserted them. They tell the tribesmen that Selassie is successfully pleading his country’s cause at the World Court. A considerable revival in the popularity of Selassie has been the result. The war spirit is flaring up again, according to reports from Djibuti.
