INTERNATIONAL LABOUR
THE GENEVA CONFERENCE NOMINATIONS FOR N.Z. REPRESENTATION [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, February 11. Fourteen nominations have been received by the New Zealand Federation of Labour for the ballot for the workers’ delegate to represent New Zealand at the twenty-fourth session of the International Labour Conference at Geneva in June. The nominations will not close until Moday, but it is believed that few, if any,'more are likely to be received. The result will he forwarded to the Government. The nominations are as follow: Auckland.—Messrs F. G. Young, J. Purtelf, H. Campbell, T. Stanley, J. T. Jennings. Wellington.—Messrs A. Co Ok, K. Baxter, J. Moulton, A. Parlane, and P. E. Warner. Christchurch.—Messrs J. K. Archer, M.L.C., G. Manning, and J. Roberts. Dunedin. —Mr J. Robinson. All the nominees are well known in industrial circles in New Zealand. Last year’s delegate was Mr E. J. Dash, of St. Andrews. So far only one nomination has been received for the employers’ delegate, Mr C. 6. Camp, of Wellington, assistant secretary of the New Zealand Employers’ Federation. The nominations will close on Monday. Last year the employers’ delegate was Mr W. E. Anderson, of Auckland.
