EAST TAIERI CHURCH
NEW MINISTER INSTALLED The ceremony of installing the now minister at East Taieri, the Rev. Stanley C. Read, was attended by a full congregation at the local church last night. The Acting Aloderator, the Rev. D. N. M'Kenzie, presided. The Rev. H. Hogg delivered a sermon on ‘ Making a New Beginning,’ and the Aloderator carried out the impressive ceremony of ordination. Principal J. Dickie addressed tho newlyordained minister on the faithful discharge of his duties, and the Rev. J. J. Cairney addressed the members of the congregation, exhorting them to co-operate fully with the minister in his work. After tho service the Rev. S. C. Read was welcomed at a social gathering, which was over by the interim Moderator of East Taieri, the Rev. Hugh Graham.
