LOST OVERBOARD
WOMAN DISAPPEARS FROM RAHGATIRA [Pis United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, May 2. When the Rangatira arrived at We!« lington this morning the police wer# advised of the disappearance on the voyage from Lyttelton of Mrs a first class passenger, travelling with her husband, who, it is Uvea near Wanganui. , Mrs Fulton, it is stated, was returning from Hamner and, because of the condition of her nerves, her husband was accompanying her, t They occupied a two-berth deck cabin, ■ and retired some time after 11 p.m. on Saturday. A stewardess who went to the cabin about 6.30 am. found Mrs Fultbn’s berth unoccupied. A search of the ship I proved fruitless, and it is thought that the woman left *thc cabin in the night, without her. husband’s knowledge som* , time after 11 o’clock, and was lost I overboard.
