BRITISH DRAMA LEAGUE

OTAGO AREA At a meeting last night of the committee of the British Drama League (Otago area) it was announced that 13 original, one-act plays had been entered for the annual competition, for which Lady Ferguson gives a trophy. The judges are Dr Unwin and Mrs Tweedie, of Timaru. It w r as stated that arrangements were well in hand for the coming festival. The hooking office opens at the D.I.C. on Monday. The price of the season tickets for the festival is ss. Last year the Concert Chamber at the Town Halt was crowded each evening, and similar success is expected this year.
