MURDER CHARGED
MAN SHOT THROUGH CHEST \ REFUSED TO FIGHT DUEL WITH RIFLES. Press Association—By Telegraph —Copyright SYDNEY, June 1. (Received June 1, at 5 a.m.) When he is alleged to have refused to fight a duel with rifles at Boomi, near Mudgee, William Duncombe, aged 32, a farm worker, was shot through the chest and killed instantly, according to the police. A man has been arrested and charged with murder.
