ROBBERY WITH VIOLENCE
CHARGE AGAINST LARMIER [Pee United Press Association.] PALMERSTON N., June 1. _ In the Magistrate’s Court Rawiri Makariki, a labourer, aged 24, of Koputaroa, was charged with robbing William Edward de Ridder at Shannon of £7 10s and also using personal violence to de Ridder. Accused was remanded till Thursday. . . The charge is the outcome of an incident at Shannon on Saturday night, when de Ridder, while walking near .Shannon station going to a friend’s, was attacked by some man and knocked nnconscions. When ho came to he found that he had suffered facial injuries and that his money was gone.
