RIFLE SHOOTING

KIWI DEFENCE CLUB The Kiwi Rifle Club fired the final shoot of the No. 4 match on Saturday oyer (he 300yds, 500yds, and 600yds ranges in fine weather, but a frontal fishtail wind was lard to judge, especially at the longest range. The conditions were seven shots and two optional sighters at each range. The best scores off the rifle were obtained by Riflemen Gilliok and Aitken, each 93. At, 300yds Rifleman Fennessy (34) was top, at 500yds Deputy-president Clayton and Rifleman Harding . (each 33). Deputy-president Clayton taking pride of place, and at 600yds Riflemen Fennessy, Mills, Ogg, and Wells (each 31) in that order, . Following are scores, handicaps, and prizewinners ;
