WHEELBARROW CRAZE
A 600-MILE TEST (*r«M Association—-By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, July 20. Cheered by 2,000 people, William Darwin, member of the Brighton Council and drum-major of the Brighton Municipal Band, set off this afternoon in an attempt to push a fellow-bands-man, William Amiguet, from Brighton to Sydney in a wheelbarrow in 10 weeks, the distance being 600 miles. There-is a £IOO wager attached to the event. The barrow is streamlined and fitted with a windscreen.
