NONCONFORMIST APPOINTED TO CAMBRIDGE CHAIR (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, July 20. The Rev. C. H. Dodd has been elected to the Norris-Hulse Chair of Divinity at Cambridge University. Mr Dodd is a well-known authority on Biblical exegesis, and was formerly a Congregational minister. His appointment marks an historic departure, as he will be the first Nonconformist appointed, to the professorship of divinity at Cambridge since the days of the Commonwealth.
