(Received July 122, at 10 a.m.) Mr Walter Runciman (President of the Board of Trade), speaking at a luncheon aboard the Normandie,- forcshadowed the possibility of an agree-? ment between the owners of the Normandie and the Queen Mary to avoid unnecessary competition, winch he declared would he foolish. It was most essential that the schedule for 1936 onwards should ensure that the vessels would never simultaneously he in th« same port, but always running in th* opposite direction.
