The interisland express steamer Maori reached Lyttelton fron’ Wellington at 7 a.m. yesterday, - ■ MOVEMENTS ON THE COAST. Wingatui sailed on Saturday for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Picton. Wellington, and Auckland., Orepuki sailed on Saturday evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington. Picton, and Wanganui. Holmdale arrived from Wellington this morning and is to sail later for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, -Picton, and Wanganui. Wainui is due from Bluff to-mofrow morning. ■ She is to sail the same day for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, -Napier, and Gisborne. Storm is due from the north on Wednesday and is to sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton. Wellington. Picton, and Wanganui. ■ Waimarino was to leave Wellington to-day for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. , She is due on Wednesday and will sail the same day for the south, returning on Saturday to load and sail for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, New Plymouth, and Port Waikato. Waipahi was to leave Wellington today for Dunedin direct. She is due on Wednesday and is to sail the same day for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth via ports. ' . Holraglen is duo from Wellington on Thursday and is to sail the same day for Timaru, Wellington, New Plymouth, and Port Waikato. . Totara is to leave Westport on Friday for Dunedin and is expected to arrive on the following Monday. Port Waikato is due from Wellington on Saturday and is to sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland, and Port Whangarei. . , ~ . HERTFORD ADVANCED. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Hertford is now expected to reach Port Chalmers about July 31 to load frozen meat and dairy produce for London and the West Coast of the United Kingdom. ANTIOPE TO SAIL. The Antiope, which has been discharging phosphates at Ravensbon rne and Dunedin, is to sail to-morrbw for Westport to replenish her bunkers. WAIKOUAITI’S MOVEMENTS. The Union Company advises that the Waikonaiti left Bluff on Saturday for Sydney and Newcastle. She is to leave Newcastle on Julv 29 and Sydney on July 30 for Bluff, Dunedin. Timaru, and Lyttelton. She is duo on August 6. ‘ ‘ TOORAK WITH-PETROL. The tanker Toorak arrived at Dunedin on Saturday afternoon from Palomhang, via northern _ ports, and was berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge a part cargo of bulk motor spirit for the Vacuum Oil Company. The Toorak sailed yesterday morning for San Francisco. COPTIC IN PORT. ‘ The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's motor ship Coptic, which arrived yesterday morning from Lyttelton. was berthed at the George street wharf. Port Chalmers. The vessel will load products to-day, and is expected ■to sail this' afternoon for London, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas.

NARBADA AT CALCUTTA, Now loading- at Calcutta the Union Company’s chartered steamer Narbada is to sail on August 3 for Penang, Singapore, and Samarang to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff. THE NEW ZEALAND STAR. y~ The Blue Star Line motor ship New Zealand Star is to leave London on Wednesday with cargo for _ Auckland and Port Chalmers. She is due at Auckland on August 26. After discharge she Avill load in New Zealand and then sail for Great Britain about September 30, being due back at London about November 3. AELYBRYN AT AUCKLAND. The Norwegian steamer Aelybryn arrived at Auckland on Friday from Texas. She has a cargo of sulphur for discharge at Auckland, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Castlecliff. JAMES COOK AT WELLINGTON. The steamer James Cook, which left Sydney on July 16, is due at Wellington this morning. She will call at Lyttelton, Dunedin, Wanganui, and Greymouth to complete' discharge and is to sail om Monday. TEES FOR THE CHATHAMS. The Tees, which has been laid up at Lyttelton for some weeks, is to sail to-morrow for the Chatham Islands. She will call at Waitangi, Owenga, Kaingaroa, and Pitt Island. CUMBERLAND TO REPLACE CAMBRIDGE. The New Zealand _ Shipping Company has received advice that the Cumberland is to leave Liverpool on October 5 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Timaru, in place of the Cambridge. CARGO FROM PACIFIC COAST. The Union Company’s motor ship Hauraki is scheduled to arrive at Auckland from Pacific Coast ports via Papeete and Cook Islands,' on July 29, with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, New Plymouth, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australia.
