REAL SERVICE IN FRANCE
There is an association in France which might give our friends of Fanum House and Pall Mall an idea (states pn overseas journal). It is the Union Nationale Automobile, and the subscription is 50 francs—at the present rate oi exchange about 15s —arid here is what you get for your money. Of course, quite a nice badge for the car; a reduction of 30 per cent, under _ tariff; assistance to recover* damages in case of an accident; the ‘ Auto Magazine, a monthly automobile journal; free legal assistance, and checking any garage charges which may seem excessive. In addition they arrange trytiques and all necessary documents for foreign travel. One hears a good deal of grumbling about the service given by our two premier associations; they might profitably get busy on the lines of the U.N.A.
