ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS
Each loiter or report forwarded to “ Diana ” for publication must bear the writer’s name and address as a guarantee of genuineness, and questions that do not permit of a public reply cannot bo answered. Questions should bo concisely put and the writer’s nom de plume clearly written. “Seeker.” —It is curious that on the same day that I received your letter a correspondent sent forward a cure for constipation, which she has found quite wonderful. I give it for you and other readers: —One large tablespodn of bran, ono, large dessertspoon of whole linseed meal, pour over these one pint of boiling water, let this stand for a day, and then strain. Add one small teaspoon of glycerine, and a few drops of lemon. Drink this in the evening. After a few weeks, try taking a cupful on alternate nights, and gradually lessen the number of doses until a cure is effected. Will correspondents please note that accounts of social functions must be sent in immediately the event is over, otherwise they are of no general interest. Accounts of weddings also should follow as soon as possible after the ceremony.
