(Received July 19,' at 11.40 a.m.) The Egyptian Government .has denounced the commercial treaty with Japan, whose imports henceforth will be subject to higher duties. Lancashire expects a speedy improvement in trade with Egypt. The exports of piecegoods were once 2,000,000,000 yards a year, but slumped to 43,000,000 last year, while Japanese imports into Egypt increased from 47,000,000 yards to 148,000,000.
