WAGONS DERAILED

EXPRESS TRAINS DELAYED [Per United Press Association.] ' WELLINGTON, July 18. As the result of nine wagons of a mixed train being derailed in a cutting at 2 p.m. yesterday, near Te Awamutu, the express trains to-day will be delayed. The up Limited will be in Auckland on time, but the ordinary express which left Wellington at 3 p.m. yesterday will be a little late. Passengers by the 3 o’clock express from Auckland were transhipped between Te Awamutu and Te Kawa by road. The train was expected at Wellington at 10.15 a.m., three hours late. The Limited from Auckland was expected at Wellington about 3.15 p.m., five hours late. Its passengers are not transhipping. The derailment was cleared at 2.30 this morning.
