LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY
' The Dunedin Little Theatre Society will make its first how to the public with the ■ presentation of three one-act plays in the Concert Chamber on Saturday evening. Principal interest centres in the performance of the O’Neill play ‘ He.’ which scored such a decisive success at the recent Drama League Festival. The occasion has an added importance in that Miss Jessie M'Leannan, who is, unquestionably in the front rank of amateur players in the Dominion, will be making her last appearance before going abroad. In exemplification of the happy relations that exist between the two bodies the Repertory Society is associating itself with the Little Theatre Society in this venture. An extremely reasonable admission charge is being levied, and the proceeds will go to the mayor’s relief fund. Mr Cox has indicated his intention of being present.
