(Deceived May 11, at 10 a.m.) At the wool sales competition was fully maintained and values were easily the best of any Adelaide sale this season, and probably the highest of any in Australia. The average price during the series was £l2 10s per bale. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office, under date tho 10th hist.; —The sales continue with opening prices fully maintained. Current quotations are: Greasy merinos (60-64’s), x3ld to 14£d per lb; ordinary (60-64’s), 124-d to per lb; inferior (60-64’s), lOd to 10$d per lb; lialf-breds (56’s), lOd to 10id per lb; half-breds (50-56’s), B£d to 9id per lb;' cross-breds (50’s), 7jd to 84d per lb,; cross-breds (48-50’s), 7jd to 7stl per lb; cross-breds (46-48’s), Gijd to 7d per lb; cross-breds (44-46’s), bid to 6jtd per lb; cross-breds (40-44’s), 6fd to (i-fd per lb; cross-breds (36-40’sj, 6d to 6id per lb.
