R.A.D. Bro. G. Wilson presided over a good attendance of members at a meeting of the Royal Arch Chapter, No._ 1. Several delegates from the various lodges were also in attendance. P.D.P. Bro. A. Bundle notified the chapter that he had adjudged Linden Lodge as winners of the JJeazley Banner. It was arranged to' present the banner to Linden Lodge. It was decided to hold the Ross-Stewart Shield competition on Saturday, June 29, in the Ivanhoe Lodge room. After a lengthy several important alterations were made on the rules governing the competitions. The members debated the suggested changes'in ttye preselit mode of honouring the Druidistic -toasts,, and finally decided that the chapter officers instruct the lodges when on their various visits. The R.A.D. reported on the visit of the chapter to the installation of Bros. A. Jelley and J. Paterson as D.P.s of Nos. 1 and 2 districts. Treasurer Bro. Young reported that the members of the board had contributed towards a jewel for Pride of Mataura Lodge, and instructed that it be forwarded to the chapter.
