Observation cars fitted with nonsplinter glass are being constructed fop the German railways, and will b« put into operation next summer. Each car is to have a window a yard and a-half wide, and a glass verandah in front to enable travellers to enjoy the passing scenery. The roof, too, will, be fitted Kith fton-splinter glass.
