HARD CASH. Blue cheq. hen, bred by Mr W. Watson, flown by Air L. Tonics, this bird has had a notable list of successes. In the celebrated Auckland flock race it secured first place in 1925 in the splendid time of 60hr 33min. In the next season it was the only bird home in race time. This bird has the unique distinction of winning the 720-mile race twice in succession.
