GAOL FOR ELDERLY MAN
GUILTY OF SERIOUS CHARGE Found guilty by a jury in .the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon on. three charges of cariial knowledge, John Henry Moulin was this morning; sentenced to imprisonment with hard labour for two years six months. Mr C. J. L. White, who represented the prisoner, said Moulin was fifty-eight years of age, and had been separated from his wife for some years. He was a hard-working man, hut it seemed be .had been living a hermit Plike existence in a little shack at North-east Valley. For some time he had keen in ill-honlth. “ There is no doubt you unlawfully corrupted - the unfortunate girl,” said His Honour, Mr Justice Kennedy,; to Moulin in passing sentence, of two years six months, with hard labour, upon each of the three, charges, the sentences being concurrent.
