TO-MORROW'S FOOTBALL

RUGBY 'Die attraction at Carisbrook will be tlie match between Zingari-Kichrnond and Southern. Zinguri has been playing particularly bright football this- season, and will be represented by its full strength. Caradus, who has not been playing for some Saturdays, should considerably' strengthen the backs. Southern, which has been showing good form both back and forward, will not have the services of Simon, but Casey sho'uld prove a good substitute. As a curtain-raiser the Union will meet Alhambra. At Bishopscourt Dunedin will meet Kaikorai. Dunedin is a greatly improved side ; while Kaikorai showed good form in its match against University. At Talinna Dark Pirates will meet University B, and on, the University Oval University A will play Taieri. As "‘Varsity A will not have its full strength in the held it will have to show its best form to defeat Taieri. The Flag Committee will inspect the grounds, and if any alterations are necessary these will be posted at the Otago Sports Depot and elsewhere. Official guides, containing particulars of the teams and interesting notes and comments, will be on sale at the Otago Sports Depot, 8. Jacobs’, and at the various grounds. SOCCER The fifth series of matches in the [<Teteller Cup competition promises good football. Interest will be mainly centred in the meeting of Maori Hill and Northern at the Caledonian Ground. Only one point separates these teams on the championship table, and neither is likely to underrate the qualities of each other when they meet for the first time this season. Northern will no doubt exploit its rapid and sweeping passing play of the forwards to upset Maori Hill's more smooth and studied methods, in which it displays excellent c<iinbinatioii. The other matches are Roslyn-Wnknri v. Technical, at Oval No. 1; Mornington v. Mosgiel. at Mosgicl; and High School Old Boys v. Scaclilf, at Seaclilf. Should it be found necessary to change any of the grounds this will be announced later.
