TOOTH DECAY
CAUSED BY SUGAR CHICAGO, May 8. Dr R. \V. Bunting, professor of oral histology and pathology at the University or Michigan, said a four-year research disclosed that a balanced diet with a minimum of sugar is the main factor in prevention of tooth decay. Dr Bunting, who directed the research, gave a preliminary report of the investigation before the International Association for Dental Research. “ We might sum up results,” ho said, “ by saying that if children are fed an adequate, well-balanced diet, low on sugar, they will have little decay.”
