MINIATURE RIFLE SNOOTING
LADIES' NATIONAL RESERVE The Ladies’ National Reserve AI.R.C. met at the Drill Hall on Tuesday night for the weekly practice. Ten members qualified for-the handicap button, which was won by Miss M. Bradley. The l ilie badge for the top score was won by Miss M. Al’Coll. Tiie following is a record of Am scores;— Misses H. AI’CoIl 77, M Bain 75, M. Bird 75, M Mntheson /-I, P. Rowntree 7-1, Mrs ,/. Bradley 73, Misses M. Bradley 72, D. Boyle 71, P. Campbell 70, E. Baxter 69, Airs Boyd 69, Misses B. Weatherston 68, N. Knowles 67, 11. Ogg 67. JJuriug the evening opportunity was taken to make a presentation to Mrs A. Boyd, whose marriage took place at Easter. On behalf of last-year, members, tlie president (Miss M‘0oll) asked Airs Boyd to accept a piece- of Stuart crystal as a tangible expression of members’ best wishes for happiness in her new sphere of life. The singing of “ For she’s a jolly good fellow ” and three hearty cheers further testified to this member’s popularity. Airs Boyd feelingly responded.
