J lie first draughts match of live season in the competition between Dunedin teams was played at the V.M.C A last evening the draw being Caledonian A and I] teams. The sides were arranged so that as far as possible thev would be ot equal strength. Mr C Duncsui was captain of the A team and Mr A. White of the B team. Air J JlcecOt was referee.
