REVENUE FROM ARMAMENT SHARES HOLDING TO BE DISPOSED OF fMs Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, LONDON, May 16. The ‘ News-Chronicle ’ says: “ Following protests from clergymen throughout the country against a Christian organisation deriving revenue from armament shares, the Clergy Pensions and Institutions Board decided to dispose of its £IO,OOO holding in Vickers Ltd. and reinvest the capital in trustee stocks. The Vickers holding was acquired in 1894, when the board was conducted more on the lines of an ordinary commercial insurance company.”
