(Received May 16, at 1 a.m.) An official announcement that Italy is prohibiting certain categories of silk imports from Japan following Signor Mussolini’s repeated emphasis on the danger of ' Japanese expansion in Europe is interpreted as another step in a well-considered xiolicy to resist the Japanese attack on the European markets.
