IN GRAND'S COMING ATTRAOTIOK 'My Weakness,' the new Fox produce tion that presents the film version of the 'American play, will begin at the Grand on Friday. Miss Harvey, , Europe's most popular picture star, .• who created a sensation with her performance in.' Congress Dances,' is one of the new array of stars now appearing in films from the studios of Fox. In ' My Weakness ' Miss Harvey has one of the most popular stars of ths screen as her leading man—Lew Ay res. He was selected after a thorough search among the stars of Hollywood, and the .final choice was made with" Miss Harvey's own approval. The cast boasts some of the outstanding performers ott liie stage and screen, among whom are Charles Batterworth and Harry Langdon, comedians; Sid Silvers, Irene Bentley, filmdom's latest "find"; Henry Travers, popular veteran of the New York stage; Adrian Rosley, !and Mary Howard (daughter of Will Rogers). Combed for "its most beautiful, girl* for minor roles in ,the production, Hollywood has yielded a number of ac. tresses each of whom represents a distinct type of feminine beauty. Among these are Irene Ware, Barbara Weeks, §usan Fleming, Marcelle Edwards, Marjorie King, Jean Allen, Gladys Blake, and Dixie Frances. 'My Weakness' is the latest Buddy De Sylba production under the Fox banner, and marks the definite transfer of one of the stage's most successful producers to the more elastic* medium of the talking screen. De Sylva is also responsible for Jhe story and dialogue, and, with Leo Robin and Richard Whiting, wrote the music and the lyrics. ■ . ■• ■
