■ LIFE IN THE HAW ■ FOB STRAND George O’Brien comes hack to the screen after a six months’ tour of Europe in 1 Life in the Raw,’ the new Fox romance, which begins at _ tho Strand Theatre to-morrow. It is a Zone Grey story that once again unites the foremost writer and the premier player of Western film stories. ‘ Life in tho Raw ’ is reported as a combination of the outstanding elements in popular adventure romance. It depicts tho arrival of an inexperienced city girl into the midst of frontier hazards and intrigues. And it reveals the true emotions of a group of people who, impressed by the wideoponnoss of Western territory, feel that they need no longer hide their true feelings. Tho film has a number of hair-rais-ing features, not the least of which are the riding and the fighting of O’Brien himself. A number of the finest horsemen in the film colony has been recruited for some of the best and most exciting riding ever witnessed on the screen. Claire Trevor, a newcomer to the screen, is the leading lady introduced bv O’Brien in this picture. Miss Trevor comes from the New York stage. Others in a notable cast in support of O’Brien and Miss Trevor arc Greta Nissen. Francis Ford, Warner Richmond, Gaylord Pendleton, Alan Edwards, and Nigel de Brulier.
