OTAGO HUNT CLUB RAGES

At Wingatui to-morrow the curtain will rise on the racing season of 1933-34, and it is appropriate that proceedings should be under control of that live and enthusiastic body, the Otago Hunt Club. The committee aims at convincing the sporting world that only enthusiasm can banish depression, and optimism and good weather are now all that are required to make the fixture an outstanding success. Everything else has been attended to, and very thorough arrangement have been made to cater for the large attenndance anticipated. The club will be celebrating its twenty-first birthday, a.nd it is felt that a large attendance will be practical acknowledgment of the services of the club in fostering a clean and wholesome sport.
