INTERNATIONAL INVESTIGATION PRINCIPLE ACCEPTED AT GENEVA Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. GENEVA, November 8. Tho Bureau Disarmament Conference, with the sole exception of Japan, accepted the principle of international investigation into national armaments. It will be open to any Power that suspects another of exceeding the limitations to complain to the Permanent Commission, which, if necessary, will initiate an inquiry.

The- United States made its acceptance conditional on a really satisfactory measure of disarmament. Other Powers made reservations, but stressed the acceptance of control as another step towards tho settlement of Germany’s equality claim.
