FORESTERS

The C.R., Bro. H. L. Robertson, presided ovei the fortnightly meeting of Court Pride of Dunedin, held in the old Commercial Travellers’ Building. Dowling street, and there was a good attendance of members and visitors. Official visits were received . from Courts Enterprise, St. Andrews, Woodland’s Pride, and King Edward’s Pride. P.C.R., Bro. Halford, on behalf of Court St. Andrews, presented the 500 card competition shield, complimenting the court upon again.being successful in winning the compjetition. The captain of the team (Bro. A. D. Miller), in returning thanks, expressed the hope that all courts would enter for the competition next year, and that the contest would ho as keen asin the past. One candidate was initiated. The visitors were entertained •with a dance evening, the principal iteni being a waltzing competition, and . this was won by Sister Gilbert and Bro. S. ; Kelly; Sister Brettel! and Bro. W, Saunder being second. Prizes were presented to these four competitors.Representatives of the various courts responded to the _ tost of; “Our Visitors”; also a sister from Court! Queen of the South (Invercargill).
