BRADFORD WANING LONDON, April 2. “ Bradford has seen its best days, and the sooner wo realise this the better for all concerned,” Mr C. Burkitt, a wool merchant, told the Bradford Textile Society. “ Research,” he said, “while wellintentioned, was often unnecessary, and it would be better not to improve certain wools, such as inferior crossbreds, for which there was a specific vise. “ A central organisation for the wool trade,” ho added, “ could not distribute more cheaply than small units.”
