PARIS, December 29. “ Crisis jewels,” made of steel and artistically coloured with enamel and cheap stones cunningly fashioned into rings, bracelets, pendants, and necklaces, are now selling readily in all Parisian jewellers’ shops, replacing expensive jewellery in shop windows, oven in tho fashionable Rue de Rivoli, where scarcely a diamond is displayed and fewer sold.
