The Army Act is the successor of the old-time “ Mutiny Act,” passed annually to authorise the upkeep and control of the Army. If it were not passed in any year a “ standing army ” would be illegal. Sago is obtained from the trunks of several species of a genus of palms. There are largo forests in Borneo and Sumatra, where the finest sago is produced. Each stem yeilds from 1001 b to 8001 b.
